I was born in Calcutta, India. I joined the National Defence Academy of India and graduated with the 55-NDA course. Subsequently I migrated to the USA and studied briefly at Tulane University before joining Yale University. I have two degrees from Yale - an MS and an MPhil, 1988.
I have spent most of my life working in the software industry. My last job was with Amazon Web Services. Prior to that, I had worked for 9 years at Cumulus Media. I am fluent in multiple programming languages, and lately had been working mostly in the programming langauges Java, C#, C++ and Ruby.
I live in Denver, Colorado, USA, where I have been a rideshare driver with Lyft and Uber since mid 2023.
